An Adventure for Rock Hounds
Head out into the field with Dr.Taz Tally (AKA Doc Roc) to explore the geology of Kachemak Bay and the Southern Kenai Peninsula and discover igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks you have learned to identify earlier in the week using the rock collection at Kachemak Bay Campus. Who should attend: Rock hounds of all kinds interested in rocks and the stories they tell. Provide your own transportation.

Exploring Aquatic Insects
This two-day adventure begins close to Homer at Blackwater Bend on the shore of the Anchor River where you will learn about local ecology and collect samples of the insects that live there. The next day we will gather in the college science lab to examine and identify what the class has collected.
